I present today this lovely vintage micro mosaic heart pendant necklace!

This superb necklace features a sterling silver, etched paper clip style of chain. The chain is attached to a gorgeous micro mosaic heart pendant with three micro mosaic teardrop dangles at the bottom. The pendant attaches to the chain by a sterling silver, triple leaf drop connector. The mosaic glass pieces exhibit a rainbow of colored and millefiori glass with unique shapes and flowers. It's vibrant, feminine and absolutely striking!

The pendant measures about 2 7/16 inches long (including the leaf drop) and 7/8 inch wide. The pendant is unsigned, but I am quite certain it is an Italian piece. The chain measures about 16 inches long. It is stamped "Sterling" on the side of the spring ring clasp. The chain, clasp and leaf drop also tested as sterling silver, but the pendant did not. I am unsure of its metal content. The combined weight of the pieces is 13.5 grams.

This necklace is an absolute work of art! The sterling chain and leaf drop complement the vividly bright colors in the micro mosaic pieces beautifully. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition and I could detect no damage or missing stones. It's a fantastic piece for the micro mosaic collector and would also make a fine gift! It's a delightful vintage find!
