Written by Steven Kenworthy, the story of how the mountain slopes southwest of Pincher Creek became a ski hill and its development to the popular present-day resort is detailed in the book A History of West Castle to Castle Mountain Resort 1965 to 2007. By combining photos, newspaper clippings and colourful interviews, Kenworthy brings the history of the Castle Mountain Resort to life. The glossy 126-page book is chock full of photos, including spectacular scenery shots that give readers a taste of the beauty that is the West Castle area. Its also sure to be a treasure trove of memories for those who have spent any amount of time at the ski hill. The book is a not-for-profit venture, with any money the book earns going to the Castle Mountain Community Association. -Lethbridge Herald review Jan. 18, 2015
